Therapy session transcription. Clinical judgment stays yours.
Clara supports therapy transcription for in-person and telehealth sessions from the browser. Afterwards, it prepares two separate records: a transcript of the conversation and a clinical note draft for you to review.
Before, during, and after, without losing the thread
A clear workflow that cares for consent, presence in the room, and thoughtful clinical review afterwards.
Before: agree and prepare
Inform the person, record consent, and open Clara in the browser. Choose the in-person or telehealth flow before you begin.
During: stay present
Clara accompanies the conversation quietly while you listen, observe, and hold the session without changing how you work.
After: review with judgment
Use the read-only transcript to check what was said, then correct the separate clinical note draft. When the record is ready, mark the session as reviewed.
What you receive after each session
The transcript records what was said. The clinical note organizes what matters into an editable draft that you review and correct.
Conversation transcript
A time-stamped text record that helps you locate and review specific moments from the session.
Clinical note draft
A structured synthesis in your format and clinical language. It is not the transcript or a final decision: you correct it and decide when to mark the session as reviewed.
Continuity of care
Relevant themes and moments remain available across the record, so you can return to the next session with context.
Spanish, Catalan, and English
Clara works with the language of the session and offers a natural experience across all three languages.
A discreet presence. Clear boundaries for data.
Confidentiality also means explaining what happens to audio and who may process the information.
Session audio may be stored securely on the server for up to 14 days after processing and is then deleted.
If a browser recording is interrupted, a local recovery copy may remain on the clinician's device for up to 7 days, or be removed sooner after recovery or manual deletion.
Audio, transcripts, notes, and other clinical data are encrypted in transit and at rest.
Contracted service providers process only the data needed to deliver the service. Clinical data is not used to train models.
In-person session
With consent agreed, Clara accompanies the session through your computer microphone. There is no need to add another device to the room.
Telehealth session
For online therapy, Clara can work with the audio from the browser tab where the video call takes place.
Document the session without stepping away from it.
