Your calendar, with every client in place. And a reminder before every session.
Clara syncs your Google Calendar, links each appointment to its client and reminds them by email or SMS. Nothing about the therapy.
The appointments you already have, linked to each record
You keep using your Google Calendar. Clara brings in the appointments, links them to each client's record and takes care of the reminders.
Your Google Calendar, in Clara
Connect your account and choose which calendars to sync. Appointments appear in Clara as a list or by month.
Every appointment, with its client
Clara suggests each appointment's client from their email or name. You confirm it, change it or mark it as not a session.
Email reminders
With your name, the date and time, and the address or online session link, in the client's language.
SMS reminders
A short text message with your name, the day and the time. Included in the Expert plan.
Connect your calendar once and Clara does the rest
- 01
Connect Google Calendar
Choose the calendars you want to see in Clara. New appointments and changes sync on their own.
- 02
Confirm each appointment's client
Clara suggests who each appointment belongs to. When you start the session, it is linked to that appointment and the client's record.
- 03
Turn on reminders
Choose email, SMS or both and how far ahead. If the appointment moves or is cancelled, the reminder follows.
The reminder says nothing about therapy
A reminder may reach a shared phone or an inbox someone else can see. So Clara's message says who, when and where, and nothing about the reason for therapy or the session.
The Google Calendar agenda is in every plan. Email reminders are included in Professional and Expert; SMS reminders in Expert. Agree with each client which channel and contact details they prefer.
- No reason for consultation or notes in the message
- Your name, the date, the time and the place or link
- A link in every message to stop receiving them
- Turned on per client and per channel

Frequently asked questions
Which calendar does Clara work with?
Google Calendar. You connect your account, choose which calendars to sync and the appointments appear in Clara linked to each client.
Where are appointments created?
In Google Calendar, as you already do. Clara syncs them, links them to each client's record and sends the reminders.
What does the reminder include?
Your name, the date and time of the session and, if they are on the appointment, the address or online session link. It does not include the reason for therapy or any clinical information.
How far ahead is it sent?
You choose between 2 hours and 3 days before the appointment, with a different lead time for email and SMS if you like.
Can the client confirm or cancel from the reminder?
No. The reminder is a notice. If the client needs to change the appointment, they tell you through the channel you usually use.
Which plan do I need?
The Google Calendar agenda is in every plan. Email reminders are in Professional and Expert; SMS reminders in Expert and in the one-month trial.
